Let’s focus on the hyphen in On-Purpose. Unawareness of it is an unfortunate miss to your well-being. The phrase “on purpose” is significantly different from the word “on-purpose.”
For example, “on purpose” lacks any moral authority. A malicious person can do meaningless deeds on purpose. Not so with on-purpose.
Grammatically, a hyphen connects two words with a compound effect. In other words, when two separate words are cojoined, the result is a new meaning.
Purpose is commonly understood as one’s reason, intention, drive, aim, or objective — as in what one does. Confusing what you are doing (mission) as your earthly purpose is a problematic detour from the most substantial benefit of purpose.
Purpose is your spiritual birthright and relationship to the origin of all good or God. Unawareness of this subtle significance of purpose unlocks the door to meanness and meaninglessness. Awareness connects us to the highest version of who we are. What we do with that connection, however, remains our choice.
On-purpose, then, is your intentional choice to fully integrate with the purity of purpose. Think of this state as being “in good” or “in God.” You’re a spiritually connected conduit in high and noble service to God, Self, and Others.
Next, consider the implication of knowing your 2-word purpose and putting it to work. There’s an innate recognition of a supernatural collaboration. It is just so right!
